Two special guests will play at this Minimal Tokyo event:

Ozy aka Örnólfur Thorlacius is an electronic musician and DJ from Reykjavik, Iceland. His music can be categorized as minimal/tech house. In his compositions he seamlessly blends offbeat techfunk with quirky electronic rhythms and sounds, creating music with a strong pop appeal. It is equally enjoyable at home and on the dance floor. OZY has released tracks on several dance music labels, such as Trapez and Force Inc. in Germany, Tic Tac Toe in Denmark and Thule Records in Iceland. He has been performing extensively at major clubs across Europe, including Studio 672 in Cologne, Tresor in Berlin as well as MUTEK festival in Canada.

Mieko highly individual music style, blending progressive house and minimal techno, took her to play in top clubs both in Japan and worldwide alongside such legends as Dave Seaman and Paul Oakenfold. She won an international DJ competition „Found@Thirst” sponsored by Heineken in 2003.

ミエコはプログレッシブ・ハウスとテクノを融合した大変独特なスタイルを持っている。彼女は日本国内だけでなく、海外のトップ・クラブでも広く活動しており、デイブ・シーマンやポール・オークンフォールドなどの海外の有名アーチストとの共演も行っている。また、2003年にはハイネケン主催のコンペティション„ Found@Thirst”でも受賞している。
