Sarah Goldfarb from Marseilles, France had his first release on Trapez in 2003. His unique blend of microhouse and hypnotic techno was enthusiastically received on dance floors around the world. Since then, he has been busy performing all over Europe and releasing his music from highly respected labels such as Treibstoff, Dumb Unit and Portable. Such renowned minimal artists as Richie Hawtin, Jeff Miligan and Anja Schneider have included his tracks in their DJ sets. In 2005 Sarah started his own label “Roman, Photo” with a 12” from “Someone Else” followed by Pheek, Butane and others. This is the very first time Sarah Goldfarb performs in Japan and we welcome him to Minimal Tokyo.

フランス／マルセイユ出身の Sarah Goldfarb は2003年にTrapezから初リリース。マイクロハウスとヒプノティック・テクノを融合した彼独自のサウンドは、世界中のダンスフロアで熱狂的な支持を受けてきた。以後、ヨーロッパ各地で数々のDj／LIveを精力的にこなし、Treibstoff、Dumb Unit、Portableなどの著名なレーベルからも数多くをリリース。現在はRichie Hawtin、Jeff Miligan、Anja Schneiderなど多くの実力派ミニマル・ テクノDJが彼の曲をプレイしている。2005年にはSarah自身のレーベ ル 「Roman, Photo」 を発足。Someone Elseに続き、PheekやButane等による12インチがこのレーベルからリリースされている。今回Minimal Tokyo vol.08にて初来日を果たし、待望のSarah Goldfarbのパフォーマンスが実現する。
